Scantily Clad Women Crash the Beijing Auto Show

The 2016 Beijing Auto Show opened on April 25, but something was missing this time around. You know all of those scantily clad models who always attend car shows? The ones who stand next to all the shiny luxury vehicles with their big, toothy smiles? Well, they were nowhere to be seen. Kind of.

This year's auto show was the first one in Beijing to ever ban car models. However, that didn't stop other women from strutting their stuff at the event. According to the Beijing Morning Post, several women wearing provocative outfits crashed the show. The women claimed they were reporters for a website. They dressed up in skimpy outfits and wore press armbands notifying people that they were filming a live broadcast.

They were followed around by a cameraman, who filmed them as they posed (like models) with the luxury cars. Despite the fact that they caused quite a stir among attendees, the staff said they couldn't do anything about it since the reporters possessed all the proper credentials.
