"Boiling dumplings" is a popular slang term used to describe overly crowded public pools in China. As temperatures crank up during the summer, it's common to see images of people packing pools to the brim in order to beat the heat.

And nowhere is that more true than at the "Dead Sea" resort in Sichuan's Daying county, where over 6,000 visitors were spotted this weekend getting their splash on at the indoor wave pool as the mercury reached a sweltering 40 degrees in the area.

We're sure it was a relaxing day at the pool for all 6,000 of them.
