Here's How to Register for Shenzhen's 2018 Half Marathon

On your marks, get set, register! That’s right runners, registration for China Resources Shenzhen Nanshan Half Marathon is now open and we have the details. 

This year’s half marathon will be held on November 25, starting at the China Resources Building. The race will begin at 8am and pass by notable Shenzhen landmarks, including Window of the World, Chinese Folk Culture Village and Shenzhen’s Hi-Tech Park.

Organizers have capped the number of participants at 16,000, of which there are 3,000 spaces for running group members, 12,500 spaces for individual enrollments and 500 spaces for charity runners.

How to register: 

Running Groups 

Registration for running group members closes August 23 at 6pm. Each group should register 30 team members and places will be allocated by organizers using a lottery system.

Team members from registered groups that are unsuccessful in the lottery will automatically be entered into the individual runners’ lottery and do not need to register again. 

Successful groups will be required to pay a RMB4,500 non-refundable fee to secure their place.  

Individuals 

Registration for individual runners opens on August 31 at 10am and closes on September 9 at 6pm. Places will be allocated by a lottery system for applicants that fulfil the race requirements

Successful applicants will be required to pay a RMB150 non-refundable fee to secure their place.  

Charities

Event organizers have set aside 500 places for charity runners, with registration opening on August 31 at 10am and closing on September 17 at 6pm. 

Successful applicants will be required to pay a RMB500 non-refundable fee to secure their place.
