Additionally, they also have two more fundraising events coming up this weekend ahead of the big day.
First up, charity yoga on Sunday (Nov 6) at Reebok CrossFit MeWellness starting at 1.30pm.
Then, once you've streched and toned, it's time to fill your stomach. Ruijin Cajun is teaming up with JingA brewing to host a pig roast. It starts at 1pm, but we expect it will run for a while.
Proceeds from both events will go in support of the charities sponsored by Chi Fan for Charity.
What is Chi Fan for Charity?
Every year restaurants around the city donate a table for ten to raise money for charity. Once the dinner finishes, guests culminate at the big post-feast bash to continue the FUN-draising. This year 50 tables have been donated by participating restaurants, which can be booked here starting today! (Don't wait too long - they fill up fast!)
The event raises money for charities which are voted for by the public every year. This year's beneficiaries are Educating Girls of Rural China and Shanghai Young Bakers.
This year marks CFFC Shanghai’s 6th annual event. It will be held on November 12 with support from The Good Agency Asia and That’s Shanghai. Chi Fan for Charity is the largest food and beverage event for charity in Asia. Other host cities include Beijing and Hong Kong. Participating restaurants donate a table for 10 people with a three-course meal and beverage pairings. To date the event has raised over 4.7 million RMB for over 20 charities.
