Just when you thought it was finally getting a little warmer, weather forecasts indicate that snow might be hitting Shanghai next week.
Over the next few days, Shanghai will continue to have overcast skies as temperatures are expected to remain at lows of 7-8 degrees (Celsius) and highs of 10-11 degrees through the weekend and early next week.
A cold front accompanied by precipitation is then predicted to arrive in the 'Hai on Tuesday, January 23, with temps dipping to as low as 1-2 degrees and as high as 3-4 degrees through Friday, January 26. Between Wednesday and Friday (January 24-26), the city may see rain and even light snow or sleet, with the chance of precipitation over this 72-hour period currently set at 60-80 percent.
Meteorologists say the drizzly, cold weather will likely last until Monday, January 29, though temperatures will gradually rise back up again to as high as 6-7 degrees starting from Saturday, January 27.
