Jan 21 & 22: Muggle's Ball
You are cordially invited to the Muggles Ball. An entire weekend celebrating the most prestigious school for witchcraft and wizardry, Hogwarts. Catch live appearances from your favorite Harry Potter characters, as well as performances throughout the evening, with scenes from the movies recreated, contests for best costumes and showcase games celebrating the world’s most famous wizarding franchise. Shanghai Fosun Foundation presents the first museum-scale exhibition in China of American artist Alex Israel, famous for his abstract neon gradient spray paintings, iconic self-portraits and his use of exciting new mediums and materials. The exhibit’s videos, paintings, sculptures and installations reveal Israel’s LA-inspired perspectives on mass media and pop culture.

Plunge into the mysterious world of Egyptian mummies at Meet Egypt: The Exhibition of Golden Mummies. Delving into the intriguing culture of ancient Egypt, Rome and Greece, the exhibition features six golden mummies dating back 2,000 years, and hundreds of valuable archeological relics, all of which belong to UK’s Manchester Museum collection.
