A Massive Yayoi Kusama Exhibit Is Coming to Shanghai, For Real This Time

Earlier this year, the infamous Japanese avant-garde artist Yayoi Kusama was reportedly holding an exhibition alongside Takashi Murakami, in a multi-city scam that culminated in a Shanghai show, and a lawsuit. The woman best-known for her black spotted pumpkins, Dippin' Dot-patterned walls and reflective installations had nothing to do with the initial events, and within a short period of time the imposter exhibitions were closed.

But aspiring Instagram influencers and fans of the polka-dot princess can finally rejoice, as a 40-work show designed for the Fosun Foundation will open in the Paris of the East on March 7, running through to June 9.

'All About Love Speaks Forever' includes over 40 of the artist's works, including her 'Infinity Mirrored Room', paintings from her latest series My Eternal Soul and a few large-scale reflective installations designed specifically for the Fosun Foundation space.

With pieces inside, and outside the museum, this expansive body of work is sure to be a crowdpleaser, and we're certain it's not going anywhere anytime soon.
