Chinese Super League club Hebei China Fortune will try and hijack Lionel Messi's contract negotiations with Barcelona with an offer of half a billion euros, if Sky Sports are to be believed.

The Argentine is currently in talks over extending his deal at the Camp Nou, which he has called home since the tender age of 13.

But Sky claim Hebei, currently coached by former Real Madrid and Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini (below), will offer the 29-year-old a five-year contract worth 100 million euros a season. (Oscar eat your heart out).
