Sep 12 & 13: Constellation Party & Mid-Autumn Celebration @ Kerry Hotel, Beijing

Spend the holiday at Kerry Hotel, Beijing with a family-friendly meal at Kerry’s Kitchen, complete with mooncakes, a lantern-making workshop and playtime for kids at Adventure Zone. Start the celebration early with friends at Centro’s Constellation Party. Dance under the moonlight with fantastic drink deals, a live DJ, dancers and a lucky draw.

Sep 13-15: Mid-Autumn Festival Feasts @ New World Beijing Hotel

New World Beijing Hotel’s signature Chinese restaurant 8 Qi Nian will offer family-style menus for RMB488, RMB688 and RMB888 for two, four and six people respectively (special offers are only available on the hotel's official WeChat shop). Indulge in age-old Chinese recipes with modern twists, courtesy of Chef Tony Guo, featuring dishes like Hei Suan Fen Si Zheng Dalian Bao with steamed abalone, bean vermicelli and black garlic sauce, and Xian Hu Jiao E Gan Niu Zai Liu, stir-fried beef and goose liver with fresh Sichuan pepper. Tian Tan Kitchen is dishing out a sizzling variety of classic Asian delicacies, European gourmet delights and sinfully delicious sweets at its lunch and dinner buffet, including a complimentary DIY mooncake workshop for kids.

Sep 13-15: Camping on the Great Wall

Enjoy the long weekend with an unforgettable camping experience on China’s historic landmark: The Great Wall. Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with a special mooncake making course and tea tasting at The Hutong. Learn all about the history of the festival and how to choose the perfect tea to pair with mooncakes of various fillings. There will even be a chance for you to make your own handcrafted tea.

Sep 14: Mid-Autumn Festival Tribute Night @ DDC

Beijing’s best local cover bands join forces for the ultimate tribute night at DDC. Catch Peking Floyd (Pink Floyd), Beijing Doors (The Doors) and Led Barons (Led Zeppelin) performing all the legendary hits this Saturday night.

Sep 14: Full Moon Hike Over the Silver Pagodas

It’s a full moon on Saturday night and Beijing Hikers have organized an exciting outdoor trek under the moonlight. The relatively basic hike features a climb to the peak of Silver Mountain and down through the pagodas. Don’t forget to bring your own dinner and a flashlight.
