Good Beer Festival @ Big Pimpin' Mansion
Picture this: Glorious Shanghai spring weather, a big pimpin' mansion in the heart of Xuhui, and a massive party with 12 of China’s top craft breweries, incredible food vendors, DJs, silent discos, artists and more fun things than you can shake your sexy beer-drunk ass at.

Shanghai's longest running and free to enter, the Wednesday quiz at BNC features 10 rounds covering everything from current events, geography, history, pop culture, music, film and more.
There are F&B vouchers, bottles of prosecco, towers of beer and rounds of shots up for grabs every week. If all that was not enough, it is happy hour until 8pm and all you can eat wings from 7-9pm.

Lise de la Salle of Cherbourg, France, completed her studies at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique de Paris with highest distinction and has gone on to play with many of the world's leading orchestras and conductors.
She made her London Symphony Orchestra debut with Fabio Luisi and in 2016 returned to the orchestra with Antonio Pappano.
Luisi, who invited her to become the first Artist-in-Residence of the Zurich Opera in 2014, has also frequently featured de la Salle with the Vienna Symphony, including a performance in New York on the Great Performers Series at Lincoln Center.
In the US, de la Salle has played with the Boston Symphony, Chicago Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra, National Symphony, and four times with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, among others.
In her second appearance with the Minnesota Orchestra, she played the Gershwin Concerto in F, a performance that inspired one critic to exclaim, “She might just be the most exciting young artist in classical music right now.”

Award winning film composer Hans Zimmer brings his smash-hit tour to Shanghai for Hans Zimmer Live.
With the support of his outstanding 19-piece live band and a full orchestra, audiences will be swept away from the sound of the first note and journey through an array of well-loved scores throughout Zimmer’s career.
In a groundbreaking audio and visual show, the multiple Academy Award and Grammy winning Zimmer, his band, and the orchestra will perform a selection of the composer’s scores from some of cinema's biggest films.
The newly arranged concert suites include music from Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Dark Knight, Interstellar, The Lion King, The Last Samurai and Dune, for which Zimmer received his second Academy Award.
