Netizens' panties in a twist over CBA cheerleaders' new uniforms

The latest set of uniforms rolled out by Chinese Basketball Association side Guangdong Hongyuan have proved controversial amongst some netizens, who have railed out against the perhaps all too revealing new design.

Web users have described the short-cut dresses and unmissable white panties sported by the eight-time CBA champions squad as "too shameless," "disgusting," and "indecent."

"What difference is there between this and wearing nothing at all?" one commenter asked. Another added: "if they didn't wear them at all tickets would sell way better!"

Considering the apparent financial difficulties facing the nation's pre-eminent men's professional basket league that have lead to massive unpaid wages, they're probably seriously considering that option right now.

Guangdong Hongyuan Southern Tigers probably also studied closely the example set by the Sichuan Jinqiang Blue Whales, whose own "CBA Babies" achieved viral success earlier this year by balancing iPhones between their breasts.
