October 30-31: Fei Bar Game of Thrones Party

Game of Thrones fans: you don’t want to miss this year’s Halloween party at Fei Bar. Come dressed up as your favorite GOT character and engage the undead in drinking contests and daring dance floor battles. Early bird tickets sell for RMB100 and include a welcome drink. October 31: Rebel Rebel Trick or Trap Party

November 3: Makeup Workshop

Two makeup mavens – Marie who is the founder of Mademoiselle Zenobie, an image and style consultancy firm, and Angelo Zanni, a makeup artist, hairdresser and Christian Chauveau Professional Makeup Institute graduate – will teach about color theory, mixing and matching makeup and more in this workshop.

November 3-5: Ada/Ava

This immersive work weaves together traditional drama – live actors and musicians – with cinematic elements like projectors and shadow puppets. The resulting, award-winning show tells the story of the elderly Ava, whose twin Ada has passed away. A trip to the mirror maze at a carnival results in supernatural surprises, however, and Ava soon finds herself revisiting the loss of her twin.

November 5: Gluten-free Meet-up and Tasting

For people with gluten intolerance or Celiac disease, ordering food in China can be a daunting task, often leaving diners with only dry rice and vegetables to eat. For these folks, Gluten-Free China makes eating in China easier by providing dining and shopping guides as well as day-to-day networking and support. On November 5, Gluten-Free Guangzhou (of Gluten-Free China) is hosting a casual Meet-Up and Tasting at 13 Factories. All are welcome to come taste a variety of food and drinks made with gluten-free ingredients and chat with others who are GF in Guangzhou. November 5: Les Petits Chanteurs de Saint-Marc

The French film Les Choristes has made them famous worldwide – or rather, they’ve made the film world-renowned. They are the Little Singers of Saint Marc, who provided vocals for the film’s soundtrack. From church choir to movie scores, the Little Singers’ performances have been applauded by audiences in churches, concert halls and music festivals around the world.

Hailing from a Palestinian village, Burhan Amer had to leave his land of birth as a child. In 1979, fate brought him to China, where he spent nine years before moving to Belgium. For Amer, China is like a 'peaceful harbor,' filling him with hope. This exhibition, titled A Journey, displays colorful paintings through which Amer conveys his reflections on life.
