Out of so many dim sum places win town, few have as good a view as VUE Dining at the Hyatt on the Bund hotel. Guess the clue's in the name with that one...

Anyhows, the generous folk at Hyatt on the Bund are offering That’s Shanghai newsletter subscribers a chance to win a four-course dim sum set lunch for two at VUE Dining.

Presented by master chef Eric Zeng (pictured above), a Guangdong-native who has 20 years of experience crafting dim sum, the menu offers over 70 fried, steamed and baked dim sum goodies, each complemented by a series of house-made sauces such as honey garlic, abalone, and special Hong Kong XO sauce.

We particularly liked their molten liushabao (egg custard steamed bun 流沙包) and xiajiao (steamed shrimp dumplings 虾饺).

Here's their 'rose petal mochi,' filled glutenous rice balls encased in sugared rose leaves and topped with fresh strawberries:

Lastly, we couldn't resist putting in this picture of their cute baked egg-custard puffs in the shape of swans. <3

Dim sum set lunch prices start at RMB120 per person for any four dishes. For those of heftier appetites, you can get six courses for RMB180, or eight courses for RMB240 (plus 15 percent service charge). Dim sum is generally considered brunch/lunch cuisine, Hyatt on the Bund loves it so damn much they're also making it during dinner times.

WIN!!!!!!
