Shanghai Locals Say 'Dog Shit Cake' Not A Real Thing

Poop.

Turns out, that's not a traditional Shanghainese delicacy. Weird, right?

'Dogshit Cake', labeled as a 'Shanghai Specialty' on the packaging, is coming under crossfire for not actually being 'a Shanghai specialty' according to, well, basically every Shanghai local.

In Chinese, the phrase 'dogshit' is a colloquialism meaning 'dumb luck', and those who eat these literal 'sacks of shit' (RMB42) are said to endure any 'poo poo' that befalls them.

Too bad it doesn't make them less susceptible to bull shit.
