Today, I had dinner with a friend visiting from France. After several days of Chinese banquets, he mentioned missing Western cuisine. Since I’m not very familiar with Italian and French restaurants in Shenzhen compared to Shanghai, I relied on my experience with Yelp to select a restaurant located over 12 kilometers away and made an online reservation in advance. I figured that any restaurant thriving outside a business district must have something special—and I wasn’t wrong. It slightly exceeded our expectations.
The restaurant’s seating arrangement is thoughtful, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The 688 RMB set menu was a delight: the salad was fresh and refreshing, while the shrimp and steak were cooked to perfection, with flavors balanced just right. The young chef, though not very old, impressed us with his culinary skills. The service was outstanding as well; the staff paid close attention to our pace, timing each course perfectly and catering to both our preferences.
