Bing is back online in the Chinese mainland as of 10.30pm CST. The Microsoft-operated search engine was inaccessible for roughly the past 24 hours, with internet users across China reporting the site was no longer loading.

People living in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other cities have confirmed the site is back up and running, with both the domestic and international search function operating normally. It’s still not entirely clear why the website was blocked but netizens sure are happy with its revival. One Weibo user chimed in after realizing the site was back online, writing “I’m so happy! I can use Bing again!”

“I never want to lose you again,” wrote another netizen.

Welcome back (for now), Bing.
